Life to the Extreme
Imagine feeling everything to the extreme, it is either black or white, no grey. Sadness feels as if there is a ball and chain forcing you to sink instead of swim. Everyone else around you is unaffected by the water, but here you are, drowning while everyone is idly beside you wondering why you are overreacting. But then imagine this, being happy and feeling a whole rush of positive emotions hitting you at once, almost overwhelmingly, but it gives you a feeling as if you could conquer anything. Happiness radiating through your body. These emotions can come and go instantly. It is as if a switch goes off inside engulfing you in darkness or enveloping you in light. This is borderline personality disorder.
